A Look at
The 1935 Hudson Terraplane will be making
an appearance at the Philadelphia
International Auto Show later this month. It will
be one of the classics that are on display at the Burn
Foundation booth that promotes awareness of the
de Elegance in May at Skytop Manor.

The Terraplane will also be
on display at the AACA
Annual Meeting, which is scheduled for February
10-23 at the Center City Sheraton in Philadelphia. We’ll be
there as a vendor.

In the Shop
We’re off to a great start in 2011. All of
our departments are busy with interesting projects as we look
toward the spring.
The metal shop is working on a
Euro-spec XJS, a Porsche 912
and a Gullwing Mercedes. The painters
recently finished a Phantom V Rolls-Royce and
will soon be putting their expertise to work on a BMW
503 and a 1941 Cadillac
In the Mechanical
department, finishing touches are being applied to the
Hudson Terraplane and the Road
Runner, as well as an SS Impala
convertible and a 1940 Chevy sedan. Next up
for the Interior Shop is a ‘55 Chevy Belair
and a new top for a 1917

Mechanic Terry Gillis

mentorship of his father and a neighbor. By age 16, he was
totally involved in the muscle car scene that stretched
through the 1960’s and early 70’s. Terry made his first engine
swap at age 17 by converting a 6-cylinder ‘54 Chevrolet to
accept a hot Chevy V8.

Institute and receiving his degree in Automotive Technology,
including specialties in auto body and mechanical. He was able
to use his love of muscle cars and experience in tuning to
lead to a successful business for 30 years: Terry Gillis

It seems like every day we find another stash of parts hidden
