 General Services Information

  • Current billing rate as of 9/1/2018 is $118.00 US per labor hour
  • All work is billed on a time and materials basis and billed weekly on Monday for the previous week that any work was performed.
  • All work performed is documented daily by the technicians, with details of work performed, notes, pictures, and/or video.
  • Costs guidelines are discussed with customers prior to work being performed. However, due to the nature and unpredictability of automotive restoration, it is impossible to provide completely accurate costs at the beginning of any project.
  • Work will be stopped for non-payment. There may be costs incurred in closing down and reopening a job.
  • Advances are generally required for anything more than service work. The last bill will absorb the deposit and any outstanding and/or remaining costs must be paid in full prior to release.

To have an initial evaluation of your project performed, it is billed on a time and materials basis and generally takes about 4-8 hours for a mid to large job. This is your first step to get an idea of the in-depth condition of the vehicle and provide options on best how to proceed and reach your overall goals.

During this evaluation we perform basic tests and examinations, such as an engine compression check, examine fluids, brake system, wiring, body and structure conditions, evaluate chrome, interior needs, gauges and accessories function, and so on. If the car is driveable we also test it under road conditions.

We then provide you with detailed results of our findings and discuss your options and projected costs based on what we can see at this time. We work with you to formulate a plan of action, and upon your decisions and approval of the guidelines, the car is entered into our work schedule.

After the commencement of work, you will be provided with pictures and progress reports accessible online. You are also highly encouraged to communicate via phone, email, and/or personal visits to view and discuss your project during the process. Our customers are always welcome to stop by our facility anytime, before, during, or after a project. Even without a project!

Enclosed trailer transportation is often available and billed on a time and materials basis.
